Mr. Ahmet Hamdi ATALAY, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of AKGUN, took place in the session of the event on “Basic Need Data Protection and Its Importance”. Putting emphasis on information and data concepts in his speech, Mr. ATALAY continued his speech by analyzing the questions “What are we protecting?” and “What is our purpose?”.

Mr. ATALAY stated that information security is the establishment of the security of three elements as providing access to data, securing data integrity and ensuring privacy. In addition, our Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors drew attention to current importance of data, stating “Data is today's oil and is worth gold.”.
