TBD 35th National Informatics Congress (Informatics 2018), which has been organized by the Turkish Informatics Association since 1976, was held in Ankara Sheraton Hotel & Convention Center between 21-22 November 2018 with the main theme of "Digital Economy and Beyond".

There was a huge attendance by public and private sectors to the congress which was opened by Turkish Republic Presidency Digital Transformation Office Director Dr. Ali Taha KOÇ and TÜSİAD Chairman Erol BİLECİK and closed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır. Over 2800 people participated in the congress, which was held with the participation of administrators of public, private sector and universities, faculty members, representatives of non-governmental organizations, IT experts and students.

"Digital Economy", "Digital Society", "Cyber Security", "Turkey's Roadmap in 5G and Beyond Technology", "Innovative and Disruptive Technologies", "New Jobs" subjects have been evaluated in process, human and technology dimensions in the panels and presentations of the Conference.

In the congress, which started with the opening speech of Turkish Informatics Association President Rahmi Aktepe, AKGÜN took place as the Group Session Sponsor. At the panel on Digital Economy and Opportunities, Turkey's order to amplify the digital economy to enhance the digital transformation of global competitiveness and development opportunities intended to be creating a leverage effect and which described the challenges, opportunities, evaluation and recommendations for how to overcome the challenges, and Turkey's current situation how much added from the digital economy creates value and what needs to be done to increase this added value was the main theme of the session in which AKGÜN Deputy General Manager Züleyha AKGÜN participated as a panelist.

At the 35th National Informatics Conference organized by the Turkish Information Technology Association since 1976, AKGÜN expressed the satisfaction of being together with the participants. 32 years of being IT industry locomotive and as the panel's subject to appropriate health in Turkey and internationally, being a company that offers solutions in defense, telecom, education sectors, she said that she is pleased to share our experiences here today and began to greet all the participants.

Stating that they have pioneered developments and changes in the global world since its establishment, Mrs. AKGÜN said that "As AKGÜN, we are starting a new era with digitalization thanks to Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IoT)"

She mentioned that "With the advancement of digital technology, automation in industrial production and as a natural consequence of this, direct communication between machines and a form of production directed by algorithms instead of human is now more possible than ever. For the companies, the faster and more efficient move to the innovative production phase, which is fundamental for industry 4.0, the faster they become digital."

What we are talking about today is not just digitalization with computers, we can sort as such smart cities, smart health, smart transportation, smart agriculture, etc. In other words, when it comes to digitalization, we are talking about the digitalization of processes, digitalization of employees, digitalization of products, digitalization of spaces, equipment, business models and the whole ecosystem. She continues her interview with as AKGUN we are developing products and solutions to support the digitization process of Turkey for 32 years and even that representing our country, we export our software to other countries to be Turkey's technology base.

In the digitalization of all hospitals in the health sector, which is one of our fields of activity, we ensure that institutions and organizations can work in full integration by digitizing all medical, financial and administrative processes, medical device integrations, remote patient monitoring, integrations with suppliers working in hospitals and integrations with national portals. For example she said; we integrate more than 500 objects namely devices with each other within the scope of IOT.

We offer end-to-end solutions that will enable them to successfully pass HIMSS digitalization audits both in city hospitals and our other customers which uses our softwares. In this way, hospitals using our software can get the HIMSS Stage 7, which is the highest level in hospital processes dijitalization.

We realized many firsts in Turkey as R & D center approved by the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology and also as in 10th place between companies investing in R & D in the Informatics 500 magazine results.

At our stand we exhibited products such as our artificial intelligence products that strengthen corporate life and direct technology, X-Eye Toraks and X-Eye Mammo AI products, our products running in the digital market and the cloud, our private and public cloud solutions, our mobile applications and our corporate applications which we provide in the digitalization within all these processes.

At the 35th National Informatics Congress, which was held by Turkey Informatics Association where a map was created for qualified human resources, we are proud of guiding the future of technology with our artificial intelligence products and making a difference by producing technological products for the future.

Our products get great interest by managers and employees of the public and private sector, industrialists and businessmen, academicians, entrepreneurs, students and visitors who use technology intensively at the congress, where speakers from Turkey and abroad were invited.
